This trip was on 2/13/04.
As you can see even in winter there is more beauty to see in this the most beautiful area of Washington State.
Can you imagine how cold the water feels?
No one turned over on this day but everyone was taking along extra equipment just in case.
Bottom left is Peewee Falls and Hook Nose Mountain. The falls is froze and there is about 200 yards of ice in front of it.
The beautiful ice formations on the river canyon walls change every day and are quite a sight to see.
