Come and Play in Pend Oreille!
The Pend Oreille River comes into Washington near Newport and runs North through Pend Oreille County passing next to the towns of Usk, Cusick, Ione, Metaline and Metaline Falls and on into Canada. Our river tours usually start at Metaline and end at Boundary Dam a distance of approximately 12 miles on the river.
In this area the river is contained by canyon walls as high as 200 feet, and numerous water falls pour into the canyon. It is amazing to know that this was created in days when the flood of Noah waters receded.
